I have a Trek SU600 frame – any ideas for the seat post and clamp size , I tested a 31.6 post and its loose?

Trek cant help (no acutal bikes near the tech help desk!) - having tried a 31.6mm post that is to slack it suggests a 31.8 is the part. For the clamp i have no idea except a 34.9mm is to small. Before buy new i want to be sure I have the right size. thanks and safe riding

    ask a bike shop or contact Trek

    You want a shim. They’re cheap, get a few to be safe.
