Not alot. Rust means it was’nt stored properly. And since it’s been sitting for over ten years, the botton bracket and hubs will have to be re-greased.. $50, if your’re lucky…The tires and tubes may also have to be replaced.

Its junk. The first thing any buyer would ask about a steel framed bike is about rust. Rusting for over 10 yrs? Egads……Not to mention the 850 isnt exactly a top end machine.

I’d just donate it to Goodwill and take a tax write off. A brand new 820 is only about $250, and it’s a way better bike than a ten year old 850.
